Job Summary

We are looking for a candidate who will own Blue Tees’ launch monitor product line as its dedicated Product Manager. This is one of our most technically complex and strategically important hardware product lines, combining precision sensors/optics with a connected app experience. You drive requirements, roadmap, and launch execution end-to-end, following our New Product Development (NPD) process and partnering closely with SW engineering, SW product Owner launch, Industrial design, UI/UX, program management, and ODM/sensor vendors. You ensure the product hits its accuracy, cost, and margin targets while strengthening the Blue Tees ecosystem by driving App downloads and subscription (SaaS) revenue.

This role is hands-on and execution-focused:

  • Own the product: requirements, roadmap, and prioritization for the launch monitor
  • Drive the launch: execute the NPD process on-time, on-cost, on-quality
  • Connect the ecosystem: link the hardware to the app and subscriptions

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership — Launch Monitor

  • Own the product roadmap, product requirements (PRDs), feature prioritization, and lifecycle management for the Blue Tees launch monitor product line.
  • Define the product vision, value proposition, target customer segments, and competitive positioning.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the launch monitor experience through customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Ensure product decisions balance customer value, technical feasibility, business goals, and commercial success.
  • Partner with the software team to deliver a seamless connected experience that drives app adoption and subscription growth.

Product Development & Launch Execution

  • Lead products through Blue Tees' New Product Development (NPD) process from concept through commercial launch.
  • Partner closely with Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Design, UI/UX, Program Management, and Operations to deliver products on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate with ODMs, manufacturing partners, and sensor/optics vendors to evaluate technical feasibility, manufacturing readiness, product cost, and quality.
  • Own launch readiness activities, including product validation, testing, risk assessment, and go/no-go recommendations.
  • Drive decisions that improve product performance while achieving cost and margin objectives.

Product Validation & Market Analysis

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking across features, performance, pricing, user experience, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop validation plans through customer testing, field evaluations, and product performance analysis to reduce product risk prior to launch.
  • Use product, customer, and market insights to inform roadmap prioritization and future product enhancements.
  • Monitor product performance after launch and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary product owner for the launch monitor category, aligning cross-functional teams around priorities, milestones, and product objectives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Operations to ensure successful product execution.
  • Foster accountability throughout the product development lifecycle while maintaining high standards for execution and collaboration.
