Job Summary

The Junior Sales Associate is a high-activity, entry-level sales role responsible for driving pipeline generation and contributing to revenue growth across assigned territories. This role works directly with a Sales Director to expand account coverage, execute outbound sales strategies, and capture untapped demand within existing and prospective accounts.

The position is focused on consistent, high-volume outreach, disciplined follow-up, and effective pipeline management. The Junior Sales Associate plays a critical role in reactivating accounts, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring no revenue opportunity is missed.

This role is designed as a progression path into a fully independent sales contributor, with increasing ownership over territory performance, pipeline development, and deal execution.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibility: Drive Pipeline & Close Business

  • Execute daily outbound sales outreach to existing and prospective wholesale accounts through calls, email, and structured follow-up cadences
  • Identify customer needs, generate interest, and convert opportunities into pipeline and closed business
  • Reactivate inactive or lapsed accounts to drive incremental revenue

Territory Support & Execution

  • Partner directly with Sales Directors to support territory-specific sales strategies and initiatives
  • Take ownership of assigned call lists, outreach plans, and follow-up execution to maximize territory coverage
  • Build and manage targeted prospecting lists aligned with territory priorities

Account Management & Sales Operations

  • Support order follow-up and basic account management to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including notes, activities, and deal progression
  • Track outreach activity and performance to ensure consistent execution against targets

Trade Shows & Campaign Support

  • Support pre-show and post-show outreach initiatives to maximize event ROI
  • Assist in executing campaign-based outreach tied to product launches, promotions, and events

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Operations, Customer Support, and Sales Operations to ensure timely and accurate customer communication
  • Surface customer feedback, needs, and opportunities to internal teams to improve sales effectiveness

Skills/Requirements

Required

  • 1+ year of inside sales, B2B, retail, or customer-facing experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls daily
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts simultaneously
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Strong time management and personal accountability
  • Coachable mindset with the ability to take direction and feedback

Preferred

  • Experience in consumer goods or wholesale sales
  • Exposure to sales pipelines, outreach cadence, and follow-up strategies
  • Interest in or knowledge of the golf industry

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1 year inside sales or relevant experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
